2 days ago I noticed that one of my hen is limping. I looked for, bumble foot, scaly leg, worms, ect and couldn't find anything that would cause limping. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, she's jumping off the nesting box and pretty much doing what a normal chicken would do. I really don't...
I don't have a picture. Her vent is in she's fine on that part. I got her egg out, she was egg bound. But now, I feel like she's still trying to lay lay an egg, i could only feel one when I got it out.
My hen had her vent out the other day so I treated her as needed and the next day, I noticed she had a hard time to poop. I put her in a warm bath and her vent came back out and noticed that there was an egg stuck in there so I helped her and got it out. She seemed better but now, I noticing...
This happened on Monday!! I usually keep her inside a fence without the other chickens.. it's way too hot outside to keep her in the coop.I don't have a space to isolate her at night so i wrap her up to prevent the pecking but during the day it is unwrapped!

One of my hen was attacked by the neighbours dog and the wound is pretty deep. I'm currently putting raw unpasteurized honey on it then I put a gauze pad then & tape it up. What I was wondering is should I leave the wound out during the day & only tape it up at night time? Or is there...
Alrigh!! I'll follow your advice and get some vitamins tomorrow.. So I just have to open her beak and make her swallow the vitamins? Thank you so much!!
She's been eating layers pellets that's about it. My other hens are fine. I'm pretty sure she had some sort of head injury as she was totally fine this morning. I found her like that when I got back from work tonight. I can try the vitamins to see if it's going to make a difference. Thank you...
I've noticed tonight that one of my hen has her neck crooked a bit. I really don't know what caused that. Did it happened to someone else and what do I do?? She's able to eat and drink so I'm not worried about that.
I carried him in my arms all day yesterday. I then put him back in the coop. He seemed fine. He's eating and drinking good. Nobody was injured, I was lucky. I ordered a camera and put another layer of protection on my coop door. Hopefully it will never happen again. Thank you 🩵
Not at all. We live in an area that as a lot of predators and it never happened before. I was so shocked when I saw the door opened yesterday. A camera was ordered right away.
Last night, something or someone got into my coop. When I woke up this morning, the door was wide open. I got out to get them back inside and my rooster was outside by himself while my hens was in the coop. He didn't want to go back in, I had to forced him. Later that day I noticed that he was...
