Hey guys, I’ve got an update. So my hen is back to her normal self, I’ve been giving her the supplement for over a month but she isn’t laying eggs anymore? Does this mean she’s all done laying or what else should I do?
Today she still laid a shell less egg but her comb is bright red, and she’s moving around, alert, talking. Other than her laying these eggs you wouldn’t suspect anything is wrong with her, she is still getting her daily dose of vitamin D with calcium
She’s secluding herself when she is out in the yard with all the other hens, which I’ve found is a pre cursor to them passing, but I’m trying to stay positive and give her this treatment.
I appreciate your honesty and input. This is a first time I’ve seen it since I’ve had chickens and I always try to help them the most I can if something arises
Hey everyone. I’m in need of some help with identifying what this is that my hen laid today, and what does it mean for her? Please any help would be greatly appreciated
I have a beautiful 13 week old black australorp cockeral. He is very friendly and has been handled since 5 weeks old. Wanting to get rid of him because I was buying 6 hens and I got 5 hens and this cockeral. I’m from Tupper Lake, NY if someone is interested in him please let me know!
