    I woke up around 6 am this morning to continental loud chirping. The quail was also stood upright. It’s only day 16 so has hatched early but since hatching he has started laying on its side and not moving as much. The temp is 37.8 and the humidity is 90% is that normal behaviour?

    From all the reasearch I’ve done and all the vets I’ve seen I think it’s best to finish the course of antibiotics she’s on and then just hope for the best. Thank you anyways

    Spoke to the vet and he said regardless of the results he’s keep her on the same medication. He is not even offering me surgery as Ann option. We have no vets near us which specialise in Chickens so now I’m at a loss of what to do as I obviously want to do everything I can to help her

    No they did not mention surgery at all? I will be willing to pay an another to save her as she means an awful lot to me. Do you think it’s worth me giving them a call for X-rays, bloods etc

    My hen had made a miracle and pulled through it fine. We're not really sure what happened but she passed an egg and seems 100% normal now. She's a little fighter! Thank god she pulled through it and thank you all for your help x
