    He eats a 16% protein chicken feed from our local store, gets 36% protein supplement as a treat once a week, black oil sunflower seed and scratch. Had some peppers this week and dried mealworms last night.

    Trying to upload another video but that’s exactly how it seems. Like he can’t balance? And then keeps stomping his foot and looking sideways? Superficial - he got a little frostbite last week on his comb.

    I went in to the rooster coop tonight to give them some scratch and protein and noticed this guy in the corner. He was fine yesterday. Today he is having troubles walking, his comb is pale and he keeps doing this weird stomping? Checked his feet and legs no injuries? No other symptoms?

    I don’t know yet 😞 I ordered 30 day olds from the hatchery and 9 have turned out to be roos. So I have to make some choices about who says and who goes 💔 I want to keep them all!!! But my husband says no haha.

    Up until now I had been thinking this was a little lady. These last few days I’m doubting - she’s started to get brown patches on her back and her neck feathers seem longer and pointy 😞 EE born June 29.

    Darn!!!!! All 3!!!??? Are the longer/scraggly looking pieces what would be considered “streamers”? I will definitely post an update in a couple weeks. I have 5 silkies in total but they’re still all so skiddish when I come near.
