    Hatching Ducklings

So I currently have a Rouen Hen who has been laying an egg a day in her nest and forming the nest each day and it looks like she might be sitting at night. She just laid 12 eggs but I haven't noticed her sitting on them. How do I know if she's going to hatch them herself or if I need to...

I can sex your pullets and cockerels!

This is the only recent picture I have of them next to each other, sorry about it being through the fence. But the one on the right is one of the two I believe are pullets, and the one in question on the right.

I can sex your pullets and cockerels!

3 1/2 month old black Australorp. Male or female? I'm thinking it's a rooster because (s)he looks different than my other two that I got at the same time. But I've had some people tell its a hen, but I just have this gut feeling it's not. Any opinion is appreciated

I just recently got two baby goats and built them a fenced in area that has quite a few plants that I'm not sure what they are, my chickens and ducks will be able to go into the pen with them so I wanted to know if the plants are safe for all of them to eat. Pictures attached

Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

This is my Black Australorp that is around 12 weeks old. I'm not sure because my other two that I got with this one have no color or comb development so far, but they all have the same mannerism and are so sweet and loving. I posted on this thread last month with younger pictures, so here is an...

    Is SHE a HE??

Thanks for the opinion!! I really do think it is also a hen because of how sweet she is and she's always hanging out with the other two and acts just like them, I have heard roosters can be more aggressive with the hens and have a different stance. I really do hope my gut is correct because I do...

    Is SHE a HE??

Hi everyone! Just an update, a friend of my uncle who grew up raising chickens in Ireland told me this is a hen, but I would love other opinions as well. He says because of the salmon coloring, and it would be RED by now. I'd hate to accidentally give away a great hen!! (S)he is not very...

Here's a photo today, still pink!!! You can see next to the other two it definitely is more defined. And I also put a picture of the three of them together as a body view and the chicken in question is in the middle, you can see the other two have more of a long pointed back end
