    Birds don't pee in the way that mammals do. The urates should be solid and are expelled with the poop. Do they have access to anything poisonous or moldy like a compost pile?

    Good work on the dog walks! Let's see what I did today.... I varnished a couple paintings, played fetch with Dorie, weeded 5 berry beds, dug up some asparagus, took Zuri outside for a potty and fresh air break, took Dorie on a walk, and gave Dorie a shower (she rolled in wild animal poo :rolleyes:).

    I wouldn't call them adults at that age. And some breeds have some filling out to do even at a year old.

    I can weigh my 22-week-olds to compare, but I think your girls are a normal weight for that age.

    They are definitely still growing and will not reach their max weight until they are a couple years old. Does the Scratch and Peck feed consist of separate grains? If so I would switch to a high protein crumble or pellet to make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need and not picking...

    Good for you checking the mill dates! That has been my experience with Chewy as well. I also order Nutrena feeds from there and they are always recently milled and have never gone bad in storage. TSC on the other hand....
