Same here. I just got bamboozled with two more roosters. I had 3 polish chicks and I ended up with one female and two boys. I guess this is what happens when you hatch your own chicks lol
I had this olive egger for 5 months already and I thought at first it was female. Now i'm confused because her tail feathers look different. Im starting to think she's a boy because her brother has been attacking her for no reason.
I had a paint silkie chick had two days ago and she was born with spraddle leg. No biggie. I put her legs together so that they would fix but it looks to be another problem. Her legs are facing outward and idk if that is fixable. If anyone has any tips to help me please lmk!
I had a paint silkie born yesterday morning and noticed she had spraddle leg. I put a binder on her legs but also noticed that she was born with 2 injuries on her hocks. Her feet bend out a little too. I had the same issue happen to another chick 2 months ago and she ended up okay, but it just...
I ended up finding some eggs! I hatched out some sexlink chocolates. I only got like 2 females lol then 6 sexlink males that are splash blue and black.
I got the one you sent me! Sorry about that. I can try liver as well, since my dogs eat liver sometimes. And I’m currently at the vet rn but I’ll make sure to send you a pic rn!
Just wanted to give you an update on her. Today was the first day of giving her B12 and she is starting to walk a little bit. I notice her poop looks kind of odd its not really one big poop but little pieces.
Thank you so much! I usually get her the flock feed from tractor supply for the whole flock since I have some young roosters as well. It does get pretty hot in california but there are shade areas in the backyard. However, I will try the vitamins!
My female olive egger has been sitting down on her hocks for a few days but thought nothing of it since its hot. But just today she hasn't really gotten up, even if I tried to give her mealworms, and she's just been sitting. I don't think she's egg bound because she's only 4 months and hasn't...
unfortunately no but im willing to do whatever it takes for her. Maybe i can try to relocate her hip join then wrapping her leg somehow or putting her in a thing like you said so shes not dragging her foot anymore
