Wow! So obviously they can develop at different rates then? The one has a comb and such that is so much larger and darker. Thank you for responding. Here is the other one that came with the three. Same age. Supposed to be a Black Splash Orpington. Do you think this is also a cockerel?
I have what are supposed to be 3 Orpington Blue Splash hens. We are now sure that one is a rooster. They are all from the same hatch date, same age. Can anyone weigh in on whether the twoin the front are hens or roos? Only the one in the back is making a typical rooster call. Just wondering if...
