have Patience my 5 RIR laid their last egg on 9/26/2010 and are just starting back up last Friday:ya:D
i found a lot of feathers from molting the first 2-3 weeks
plus after talking to people and watching the forum that the shorter days and cold weather are a factor
they will start to come...
These napkin holders are great for outside use and camping trips
I make these as a hobby to keep me busy in the winter
also make a feeder that mounts on the wall of the coop in side and out
great for multi-feeders will be posting these at a later date

I've been "CHICKEN SITTING" a friends hens since friday and starting sunday there 1 roo has attacked
me at least once each time
today he met with the 5 gal pal that I was carrying
roo is fine but was thinking twice about doing that again
chickens are durable but need a little wake up call and...
my wife caught a hen that wasn't laying dropping a egg that should be a good sign
we know which 2 were laying because the have id rings on there ankles
found out today previous owner was feeding a 16% layer crumble
and i had bought a sunfresh pellet:(
sunfresh had higher salt and 3 other ingredients
changed feeder and a feeding frenzy ensued
hopefully will help other 3 start laying
