    In the pic he was laying down. It was bed time, I think he thought he was encouraging me to nap with him. He was the first rooster up this am. He made a beeline to me, I hugged and kissed on him, he nibbled my hair, I looked down at him for doing that, he looked up and said...what?

    They all changed so much since chicks. The friendliest besides Brad is this one that may have been Queen Elizabeth. Now as a boy I have been calling him Colonel mustard.

    I borrowed a rooster once that was molting. He had a bald spot on his butt. My hens pecked it he said. "Ow!" Just like a person.

    Some times when people get the extra girls I offer a free rooster. I always advertise rfree roosters on local computer bulletin board. If I have no takers I let them live their good life, until they crow, then process.

    Taylor hatched in a group while I was asleep. I have her listed as a chipmunk chick.most of those ended up boys. All the boys are still with us I don't know who is who.

    This is Pamela, now called Papa. roosters.paprika Brad and Kim.I called him and he came running to pose again. Below i let the boys run free these 2 genius birds decided to peek at the goose, who has killed roo chicks before, may not be a good idea.
