I just got a shipment from gurneys all nut trees of different varieties they seem alive just planted in pots till area they going in is ready most my fruit trees came from

I started with a long lead left attached to the dog and every time I saw one start to chase a chicken I grabbed lead gave good tug and gave command "leave it" after a while switched lead to shock collar and same thing but have to be consistant didnt take long for them to figure it out

dont give up on the dog I have three bird hunting dogs and they do ok with the chickens I dont leave them alone and keep my eyes on them but can free range chickens and have the dogs out with me no casualities yet in two years
Good luck on lock down! I have done two batches of shipped eggs got 8 first time and 8 hatched second but two died following day. Those just started laying so will wait awhile before try those unless a hen goes broody.

Icelandics do have leg feathering. Those with it are not crosses. Not many have it but it does show up. It is rare. I have had a couple in Sigrids line. That's as pure a line back to the Vikings as there is.
