I have a broody hen who is siting on 26 eggs she is able to keep all of them warm but i worry she has too many, and on top of that she is broody in a very popular nesting box meaning our other hens will push behind her and lay eggs giving her more eggs. Should I block that part of the hen house...
My Easteregger has been sitting on eggs for four days the problem is that i have 14 hens and 1 roo i don't know if the eggs she is sitting on are fertile or not how do i tell i don't want her to not hatch eggs this is my first broody
i just moved my broody and she was fine just move her at around 8:00 she might not sit on the eggs right away so just leav her to be for a little while if you think you still might break her just wait until the eggs hatch or are very close

They were outside in the pen and they were sitting down the boy was dead on the side but it looked like the girl had tried to go back in side but her legs gave out when I looked at them they weren’t skin and bone but the veins were very prominent I’ll send a pic
