My father-in-law has decided to dismantle his quail shop (for now) and is looking to give the flock away for free. There are about a dozen of female quail, most (if not all) laying eggs. You will need to pick them up yourself from Linden, NJ. Let me know if anyone is interested. -

Yeah, so I have 3 separate cages: 2 with roos and 1 without. In cages with roos hens are bolder AND in one the roo is bald too. I am thinking this might be a combination problem. Will try to see if they have pheasant feeds at TSC. Thanks! -

Yeah, I went against my better judgement on that decision. I read that you shouldn't help them out... Its still on its side and can't get up or be in upright position. It will probably die of starvation. What do you usually do for such chicks? Do you put them down yourself? -
