They seem to be dying while pipping.....poor little buggars, two dead, one very weak, two more pipping. The membrane looks very dry, I think they all are struggling to get out. They looked...

He has shown no aggressive tendancies to anyone yet. He is a year old.
When I'm in the run, I do, occasionally, chase him into a corner, flapping my arms.
I note he does this, stands tall and flaps his wing, then crows. So I immitate this against him...

What a dilema..
i have three broodies at the moment, one of them, known as chicken little has successfully been moved to another box and run.
however i have two others who are impossible to move. I tried moving one of them, but in the new box and run, she just paced and paced and let the eggs...
At my workplace here in Invercargill, New Zealand, there are four of us who sell eggs.
We all agreed on $4NZ/doz (approx $3.50US)
We all have our own waiting list too, and help each others "customers" out too.
The other two sell a doz each every two days, I sell a 3 doz every two days

No movement, no noise.
Candled the eggs again, and it looks like they died between day 7-14.
3/4 of the egg is dark, i can see the airsack and also a lighter area with veins in the small end.
Now i have to wait for a broody.

Temps have fluctuated too much ranging some days between 34 and 39 degC. The odd thing is some days it would sit ang on for 4-5 days then drop for no apparent reason, so I would...
