Just wanted to give another update. They both seemed to be perfectly fine today. They were giving full wing extension without any loss of balance and not twitching their wings. I think they're fully healthy at this point. Thank you so much everyone!
They're doing well actually. Wet feather cleared up. They are eating, drinking, and swimming. I think they may have been in quarantine in the upper part of the pen (see photo above) for too long and just hadn't had a chance to stretch their wings. They also have not been doing the wing...
Quick update: The wing twitching seems to be gone today. I did see his brother now has a bit of a stumble. It seems like it's only occasionally when they extend their wings to flap. I've been reading up on hardware poisoning and I think their symptoms line up pretty well. I was considering...
Thank you, I'm going to keep them together and put ACV in their water overnight. I just commented on the vets in my previous reply, but worst case scenario I could take him to a vet. I don't know why I keep saying he, his name is Hughey.
I did a quick check and did not see anything but treated anyways because I was trying everything. I read that the lethal dose of permethrin is a ridiculous amount for a duck but I'm not sure if that could be the issue. I would think all of the ducks would have the same issue in this case. I...
He's currently quarantined with his brother:
Not sure if you'd recommend I separate them, they're kind of glued to each other so I like to keep them together. I can pick up some apple cider vinegar (that's what that means, right?). Is there a mix percentage I should be going for in their...
I have not noticed any weight loss... not to say he hasn't. Here's some pictures of his poop and his brothers (they have been quarantined together). I included the brothers because it's very green and he was nice enough to give me a sample right when I showed up.

You can also see in the video he keeps shaking his wings. He always seems to stumble to the right if that helps. I fear it may be a right leg injury not sure though.
This morning I'm noticing it again... I'm thinking maybe splayed legs he does seem to be pointing them inwards a bit. I see a lot of posts about ducklings having splayed legs but this guy is a bit over a year old. I fear it could be a hip injury. I'm really not sure how to check- I felt his...
I honestly wasn't sure why they all got wet feather so I just started treating all the possible causes I could find. Poor bedding and external parasites (they always have access to water). I honestly haven't seen him doing this since I posted this. He seemed to have a small cut on his foot...
Hello, recently I had my flock come down with wet feather just about across the board. I've given them all baths with dawn, treated them and their coop with permethrin spray, and put vet rx under their wings for respiratory issues. Today I notice done of my ducks appeared to stumble and fall...
I appreciate the perspective, and it is a serious commitment to giving him any bit of a normal life (swimming, being outdoors, having others ducks for company). The time commitment is not my concern really, I'd do whatever he needs if it would give him a good life. I'm just not sure there's...
Yes, I have the specs on one actually. But at this point, I'm wondering if all of my work is really going to ever give him the quality of life worth keeping him alive. I'm more than happy to build or acquire anything he needs if I believe it's the right them for him
I've made a few posts on here about the escapade I went through when my three ducklings were shipped four months early. One of them (Moose) has a bad leg that wasn't caught early enough and the doctor was unable to set a cast or help. I'm kind of kicking myself watching old videos of the...
