    I know I may not know for sure for 6 more weeks, but I’m curious to see what the hivemind thinks. I’ve got one with very distinctive wattles. One with slightly pink ones. One with small, but red tinted wattles. And three with none at all. Is it looking like a 50/50 split at this point?

    Where’s my tail?

    This baby is 6 weeks old, and was purchased as a sexed pullet from MPC’s rare breed assortment. Is she a blue Orpington? Is she a she? The only other chick that has no tail at this stage is my Faverolles cockerel! I can try to get better pictures later if needed.

    Marans or Not?

    Zucchini was purchased from MPC’s rare breed assortment, and was ID’d a few weeks ago as a likely BCM. Comparing her to the BCM pullet I had last year at the same age, though, I’m not seeing those copper hackle feathers. She is 5.5 weeks old.
