    Pretty eggs. I was supposed to have isa browns but they lay green eggs so I’m thinking they are olive edgers.

    This is one window inside the run. I made it into a door so I can open the door and clean the coop.

    The run is 8 by 12. Coop is 4x8. 30 in off the ground.

    We decided to enclose a 12 x 20 section of the yard attached to the coop so they could access some grass.

    It’s so hot here in VA. July is 90 everyday. Added a kiddie pool. There is also a box fan that’s on 24/7 on the outside of the run blowing into the coop and run. I only let them out in the morning and evening. During the hottest part of the day they are in the run where there is deep shade.

    When you open the large front coop door there is a permanent screen covered in hardware cloth. So I can leave that door open all summer.

    Shade ez up. Have since moved it close to the run/ coop to increase shade.
