    usually may thru october is how long they lay throughout the year. if your wanting to know how old they are until they stop laying i don't know. mine free range 24/7 & the hens don't usually make it past 2 years. preds usually get the hens when they go broody.

    as long as the neighbors don't complain you'll get used to the guinea noise & not really notice it until they get close to the house.the only time my guineas get loud is at roosting time & when something out of the ordinary is in the yard.

    my guineas free range with chickens without any problems. usually the chickens run off the guineas. thats my experience with them together. maybe my guineas are sissies. i think as long as they are raised together they should be fine.

    i agree with ivan3. the only time chicken poo really stinks bad is if it gets wet. general house keeping should keep coop smell to where its not too noticeable.
