    Chickenswaps Of Nh April Swaps

Darbella, you could always ask them if they would carry it for you. I did that with the large bags of crushed oyster shells and they were good about that. They are much more economical to buy with the large sizes though the big bags are harder to load. I wish they had more helpers that way.

    Maine? Home or backyard chickens

I think it would be a great idea to have forums for different states as far as the legalities and such and be easier to locate threads along with the general information.

New Hampshire - LIVE FREE or DIE

They made a new rule on there that you cannot post chickens on there unless they are used for meat or have been tested. I am not sure of the exact test requirements......anybody know?

how do you go about becoming NPIP?

Good question.....I have heard it is free to test so why not? How many chickens actually come down with this anyway especially with back yard chickens? I could see large facilities or importing them from other countries.

I thought it was per year.....I could be wrong. Also in one of the above links I saw this. 437:15 Sale or Gift of Small Quantities. – Chicks, ducklings, goslings, and rabbits younger than 4 weeks of age shall not be sold or offered for sale; raffled; or offered or given as a prize, premium, or...

New Hampshire - LIVE FREE or DIE

Okay....so for the next upcoming "Swaps" what is to be expected on both the part of the ones selling or swapping their birds, rabbits, cucks, eggs, or chicks, AND the ones buying their chickens, ducks, rabbits, eggs, or chicks? Or doesn't anybody really know is my question or does it just...

New Hampshire - LIVE FREE or DIE

Geesh.....you need a lawyer to decifer all this stuff. Chickens are considered livestock under the IRS I believe. How did all this start anyway? It makes one not to be bothered with chicken swaps anymore.......it use to be fun and a good thing. Now they are making criminals out of people for...

What are they afraid of? I had a very innocent question I thought and then complained about the state stepping in. Who's toes did I step on that they would have to delete my questions and the statements that followed?

New Hampshire - LIVE FREE or DIE

Hey.....what happened to my thread? I got deleted for asking a question and then stating an opinion about cops showing up at a Chicken Swap and the new regulations? Geesh.....I would think that would be common concern for all swappers. Must have said something they did not like.

How ridiculous if they force you to buy at least twelve. They are creating the burden of having to many themselves if that is the case. I was at a TSC store yesterday and one man was all excited he had bought two ducklings.....very young......along with all the necessary supplies.....feeders...

New Hampshire - LIVE FREE or DIE

I am not sure what this means......when you go into a TSC store for example and you wish to purchase a rabbit or a few chicks or ducks, is this saying you have to purchase twelve of them as a customer if they are just babies? Or is this for the store to purchase in bulks of at least 12 to offer...

Equine Licensing and Registration...HB 427.......Chickens next???

Well....you don't have to agree to it is all I am saying. This is not done in NH and shouldn't be started. NH is known for its fields and agricultural communities.....lets not jeopardize that. We are still able to make a difference as individuals if we will but stand up for our liberties...

Equine Licensing and Registration...HB 427.......Chickens next???

This Tuesday make your voice heard in the Legislative Bldg. in Concord at 1:45 I believe. Check out nhequestrians.com for all the information. They are trying to make mandatory rabies shots by a state veterinarian and make you pay $25 to register each horse with the town. If this passes I am...
