    You might try lowering your humidity. I find that I get the best hatch rates if I keep the humidity in the mid-thirties for days 1-18 and increase to 65 for the last 3 days. Good luck!!!!!!

    I think the buff is a cockerel and the white is suspicious, but like others have said it's a bit early yet.

    Hmmm, might be a boy. I only say that because it looks like the comb is bubbling up a bit and may have some reddish purplish undertones??? It's really hard to tell but it looks an awful lot like how my nonbearded boy looked around that age. But, like I said, I don't have any nonbearded females...

    How old? I only have one non-bearded and its a boy. Compared to him she looks more feminine to me but i dont know what age unbearded females get wattles. Maybe someone else will be more help. I dont see any other features that look rooish. Age and a comb closeup might help.

    Yes, same bird, lol. He looks so different than the other males from the same hatch. The only thing i can think of is that he is my only male that has a vaulted skull. I have two 3 week old silkies so i will probably be back to play the guessing game with you guys again!

    Oooohh 5-6/day! I cant wait! My silkie will start laying in the next few months but i'll probably just hatch those eggs! I have various chicks ranging from 1 day to 8 weeks so I'll get there eventually! I'm especially excited for my easter egger and olive eggers to start laying!!!
