    I have had 3 broody hens since April and it has disrupted the routine of all 7 hens 1 came off the nest 2wks ago and is now laying again and the other 2 have been off for 2 days. I really thought they were going to starve, hopefully it is over and things will return to normal !!!

    That's what has been happening in my hen house. Thought my Marans was over her broodiness but she's back on the nest and she has a Buff friend with her. Eggs are being broken cause everyone wants the same nest.

    Hi, My Marans went broody 8 wks ago and stopped laying. I moved her off the nest each day with the offer of treats. She would eat and drink but would go right back on the nest. Well this past week she has been off the nest and layed an egg yesterday and today, so I guess it's over
