so ive been raising peafowl on and off since 2010 or so and ive had my fair share of them getting sick or dying but usually wasnt that bad and the rest of the birds were fine, i always worm them about every 3 months i used safeguard and i also have ivermectin on hand as well as penicillin...
i will be watching the droppings now that i have them sequestered away from the other birds, what would you guys do to start i was thinking pennicillin but i dont know maybe theres something better i should do and anything i should do for the rest of the flock to maybe keep them all from getting...

i didnt know that about the fertility rate, and ive also heard you need a 50/50 male female ratio with guineas and i have 1 male and 4 hens and another pen with just a pair. im going to make some places for them to make nests, that was a good idea thank yall

i just bought 7 guineas and i have put them in a 40 foot by 32 foot pen with some peafowl there already are nest in the courners of the house but the guineas are laying in random places and we have to watch so we dont step on the eggs? is there any way to get guineas to use a nest or should i...
i went and bought some guineas and have them in a seperate pen but i was wondering if they would get along ok with peafowl in a very large pen, do they pass disease to peafowl like chickens do? bc i dont keep chickens around my peafowl for that reason. another question is should i worm guineas...
