Emily coughed, covering her nose with her sleeve, barely able to see. Her eyes sting as tears streamed down her face. She stumbled, getting light headed as she tried to stay as low as she could.
Emily couched roughly as she sat up from her sleeping place by a tree. Smoke stung her eyes as she tried to look around, making them water. Scrambling to her feet into a crouch, she looked around, trying to see through the orange-gray haze. Throwing her bag over her shoulder, she coughed again...
"Hmm..." Emily muttered. Seeing that either Lee left or didn't want to be bothered, she needed to find someone to practice with. If she didn't practice with someone else, then she's never know if her technique of defense worked.
Emily frowned, worry creasing her brow. Walking over, she crouched down next to Jen, laying a comforting hand on her shoulder. She said nothing, concerned, and waited for Jen to look up.

"Hmmmm...." Emily flipped her dagger in the air, catching it by the hilt. She had many faded scars on her palm, a mystery to be sure. Although she suspected it was from failed attempts from throwing her dagger, a few looked like burns, but she couldn't be sure.

Keeping her other dagger in her hand, Emily retrieved her other dagger from the tree, deciding to practice her cross blade defense. She paused a moment, listening to the thudding to her right, which sounded like a sword to a tree. Probably someone practicing their sword.
