    I've never had any diseases/problems with my chickens before this year. Violet had fly strike, which she survived thanks to help on this site! Now her head is turning black. Another chicken has a nice red comb but is getting some black spots on it. The other two chickens have pale dry looking...

    After draining her bath there were small brown specks. Couldn’t really tell but wondering if it’s dead skin coming off.

    She’s in the tub now, so I’ll get a good picture later. Do you think I should put some kind of lotion on her brown hard skin? Or just use the vetericyn and antibiotic cream? Thank you for all your help!!!

    She started drinking and eating a little tonight 😊! I held the bowls up to her. I tried wet cat food and some corn. I’m so glad she’s starting to do this. She’s getting a little feisty and trying to fly out of her bath, so that’s a good sign too!

    She seems better, but won’t eat or drink. Not seeing many maggots. Any ideas to get her to eat or drink? She’s in the house. Thinking about putting her back in coop in about 3 days because I wonder if she’s missing her coop. Probably not a good idea until she’s eating?

    BTW she’s staying in our bathroom 🙂. She’s perkier today but haven’t seen her eat or drink. Not lethargic anymore so I’m encouraged!
