When do Easter Eggers start laying?
None of my EE's squat for me. It is probably because they were added to the flock late and I did not socialize with them much and they like to keep a little distance. All of my other chickens that are laying will squat.- AJ83

Who else is waiting for that first egg?
Australorp - laid at 30 weeks and is now 42 weeks Speckled Sussex - laid at 29 weeks and is now 41 weeks (2) Blue Cochins - One turned out to be a rooster, the other started at 34 weeks and both are 39 weeks now (2) EE - laid at 31 weeks Now, I am waiting on just 3 to start laying: Dark Brahma...- AJ83

Easter Egger club!
Thanks My Easter Egger, Cyndi, is the one that started laying. Checked the camera and she was in and out of the nest box all day. She ended up laying it under the roost. Here she is at 26 weeks. All of my Easter Eggers are almost 31 weeks now. Waiting on these two to start laying...- AJ83

Blue Cochin Rooster In the wood shop so I can doctor his eyes. Fowl pox sure gets ugly when it affects their eyes.
