Hello all!
I miss you folks, I've been really busy changing jobs and all.
I'm firing up my bator this wkend and would love to have some buff laced polish hatching eggs. Does anybody have any that they want to sell?
Pm me, please. ;)
I just want to say "hello and good morning." Donna introduced me to the TN thread. Also greatest accolades to Donna for raising beautiful health birds. I look forward to seeing her again on Saturday.
I put mine in on the 9th. but still not a pip or a zip...
My temp was low for a few days (maybe 3 at the most) 98.8 or so.
My eyes have been glued to the lid; just waitting.
I leave my eggs in the carton. I have two days yet till hatch day. I am eggtra eggcited, since these are eggs that I bought from the auction here. I dont candle, so I wait the full 21 days, to see my surprise. I also have a two broodies sitting on 10 eggs together. I am goting to pull the chicks...
UPDATE!!!
I am on the home stretch, no tuuch, no turn. I can only look through the window, watch for movement and wait....and wait...and wait.
My neck will be like rubber by tomorrow.
I saw movement in the eggs that I labelled rooster. Cool. I am eggcited!!!
OKAY, THEY ARE IN!!!
I was too eggcited and could not wait any longer. I picked them up from the post office today at 3:30 pm. I hope that I am not setting them too soon.
I seem to have a good mix. Best guess, I have 4 WC roosters, 2 WC hens, 2 GL roosters and 4 GL hens. Now lets see how good...
Count me in !!!!
I just got 6 WCPolish and 6 GLPolish in the mail and I am letting them rest. But at 6:30 p.m. they are going in the bator. Yewwhoooo!!!
I am in with you. I usually put them in the egg tray and cook them but this time I'm thinking about laying them on their sides. Any suggestions?
