So i brought a few Jumbo Italian Quail around 2 years ago, and all were yellow birds. Recently, one of my quails heads has turned completely brown. Anyone had this before or know why? Thanks for any help

So very odd question, but turns out one of my two female turkeys is actually a male. He’s just started gobbling & puffing out his feathers today. Earlier I caught him essentially mating the air, just stood by himself doing the whole business. Anyone elses do this? Also, what’re peoples...
Looking to get a few turkey hens to keep my now lone rooster company. When doing research on turkey breeds, I’m finding it difficult to know which are just meat breeds. I want turkeys that are pets, not meat birds, and I know a lot of turkeys are bred to be meat birds so i want to know if there...
Unfortunately I’ve discovered my chickens have mites. I have cleaned their entire house and blasted it with a mite kill spray, obviously I’ll do this several times. I was wondering how to get the mites off them, like is there a spray? I have seen mites on the actual chickens and not just on the...
So I just had one of my chickens pass today, she was one of my favourites and it had me wondering what was the colour was called. we have no idea how old she was or the breed, so I don’t know. She Looked basically like a faverolle with really cool colouring, but I don’t know the name, anyone know?
Her and another hen have the same coloured eggs and most are coming off lay now as it gets dark around 4. All eggs i collect are fine though. I didn’t get a good look at the vent, but she seems a healthy weight and definitely isn’t the lowest of the pecking order. I’ve never seen another hen...
One of my hens I’ve had for at least 6 months now is displaying signs of illness. She isn’t standing up correctly, almost crouching and keeps her head low to the ground as well. I offered her some food and she ate it like she hadn’t eaten in awhile also her crop was empty. She is walking around...
I hope so, thanks! I did actually notice that his feathers are looking a bit scruffy, as he used to have such a long tail and near his vent there’s a few of those feather buds with the plasticy coating on.
I think I’ll give him a vitamin mash tomorrow, he’s extremely skinny as well. They have unlimited food 24/7 but he seems to only call the hens over to eat
