Ok but think about this. You are eating an embryo when you are eating an egg... thats one side of a reproductive cell.... whats the difference when eating two?
Is it just me or do i see wattles growing already... because of the different comb type it could look less profound than it is???? I mean my initial thought was pullet but I'm starting to lean toward cockerel but i could be very wrong
No red leakage but sun bleaching yes... his sickles and hachles turn a brassy colour. He has removed feathers on that particular hen which makes he look like she has a massive tail
My name is Zade
Yes i love the black on top and blue underneath. He is such a gentlemen... he dances for his ladies, shows them where the food is, breaks up fights, chases away predators! Im so glad I've got him and the chicks that they make are to die for
If you want to see more pics follow my Instagram...
Well actually they are at my cousins house and she is the one sending me pics... but just from feathering multiple people on Australorp thread said that they are 99% sure that blue is cockerel and black is pullet
The blue one's comb has just started to turn pinkish... the people on the Australorps thread said they think so too but i was just wanted some second opinions.
Front one was blue when born... back one is black
Black
Blue left black right
Both purebred Australorps from my flock. 5 and a half weeks old. Im thinking blue is a cockerel and black is a pullet
Yep same age both just over 4 weeks old! See i would have guessed the blue was a pullet and Black was a cockerel from this pic
And my other hatch now two weeks old, the blues from that have blue feathers?
