    Is it just me or do i see wattles growing already... because of the different comb type it could look less profound than it is???? I mean my initial thought was pullet but I'm starting to lean toward cockerel but i could be very wrong

    No red leakage but sun bleaching yes... his sickles and hachles turn a brassy colour. He has removed feathers on that particular hen which makes he look like she has a massive tail My name is Zade

    Yes i love the black on top and blue underneath. He is such a gentlemen... he dances for his ladies, shows them where the food is, breaks up fights, chases away predators! Im so glad I've got him and the chicks that they make are to die for If you want to see more pics follow my Instagram...

    Well actually they are at my cousins house and she is the one sending me pics... but just from feathering multiple people on Australorp thread said that they are 99% sure that blue is cockerel and black is pullet

    The blue one's comb has just started to turn pinkish... the people on the Australorps thread said they think so too but i was just wanted some second opinions.

    Front one was blue when born... back one is black Black Blue left black right Both purebred Australorps from my flock. 5 and a half weeks old. Im thinking blue is a cockerel and black is a pullet

    Yep same age both just over 4 weeks old! See i would have guessed the blue was a pullet and Black was a cockerel from this pic And my other hatch now two weeks old, the blues from that have blue feathers?
