    I've heard polish and silkie. Maybe a mix. He has a giant afro that I'm constantly cutting just so he can see. I haven't seen a rooster that looks anything like him.

    Anyone know what breed she is - shes 17 weeks? She is really smart, brave, extremely inquisitive and just fun. She plays games with me. I'd like to know more about her.

    Nope. In fact she was laying down with everyone when she started. So far she hasn't done it again in the last hour.

    My hen started gaping after snack time. Is that common. She's active, eating, drinking and showing no other signs.

    I name him Gabriel. I thought he was a silkie but then most on here said he was a Polish. Some type of mix ofc. He's a mystery bird. His earlobes look like flesh color. It's not white like some others.

    I tried numerous things. Hair ties won't work. It's more like fur than feathers - it's super fine and pretty much over his head like a mane. He's not dealing well with the ties nor does it really pull back without hurting him. I even tried joggers.

    Sleepy Polish?

    He's about 13 weeks now. The vitamins really seem to be helping. This was the first day where he didn't look lost. He even went in to eat some scraps which he has NEVER done. So I'm hoping!

    I'm having a very similar issue with my Polish Roo. How did you make out? I thought maybe it was wry neck symptoms and just recently started giving him Vit E and B vitamin packs. He didn't look great this morning but I checked on him while it was still dark out.
