I have a small syringe I used for the quail but it is too big so I put the milk between the creases of my fingers and he takes it from there- lizziehux

I've been trying to feed this penny sized... since Thursday and I need some help! Why try to save a mouse? Because he was sat outside my backDoor when I went out to feed my birds...this was a cry for help! what else could I do???- lizziehux

Thank you Barbara They're harliquin quail so v.small but I think there might be a problem as my little hen that died and another hen both had soft shell eggs yesterday. The more robust of the two has survived, she's still a bit fluffed up today but a lot more alert so I think she'll be alright...- lizziehux

Well I'll leave it a week or so and see how they get on. You can spot the hens though because as soon as they get in the hay all the harlequins riddle in amongst their feathers and the hens put up with it! They are lovely dogs proper little characters, he dreams about running fingers crossed...- lizziehux
