About 30 different species, no ringnecks some common but mostly the rarer species. No extra Lewis male or hard to come by grey PP hen. I could use one myself.
Have quite a few tail and wing feathers. They are at a fellow bird breeder that is going to a couple fly tying shows this coming month. Should have extra if your interested.

They don't seem to dig as bad as the Brown and Blue Eared Pheasants. Actually have lilac bushes in the pens. White Eared not much at all also. Raised 19 out of 2 breeder pair, and one of the hens is 20 years old. Fed Mazuri GB Breeder, layer pellet, Waterfowl breeder and fruits in season.
Usually with larger birds like Impeyans, fertility will be not good. Probably depends on how many and how bad they are crooked. If they are bad, they eventually could break down the legs of the bird.
It's a female. Don't go by the eye color. males and females tails are completely different.Hens are barred, males are spotted.Chest pattern is also different.
Young males will show some coloring also. I have young males that have a lot of adult coloring for young birds.
When the first pip is apparent, most of the time it can take another 24 hours for the bird to hatch. Did you help the Impeyans out? Should be very little blood if hatched naturally. It takes many years of knowledge and experience to know when to help the babies when they are having trouble. If...
