    If anyone is looking for chicks, there's a lady on Craigslist that will be setting eggs for a April hatching. She sells a barnyard mix and I have purchased 12 from her. They are straight run also. I managed to only get 5 roosters from the 12.

    That little buggers days of being a domestic terrorist is over now. Now maybe he'll get to join the group and not be able to get to the garden.

    Puppy attacks pullet and ripped the feathers out of her back but she's still alive.

    She's doing much better. Her feathers are coming back in and my husband and I cleaned a big rabbit cage and she's in the cage outside in the run. She's not happy but at least she's doing better. Thank you for asking.

    I've gotten a lot of big eggs but the 97 grams was the biggest so far but I have a pullet that looks like a full grown rooster but she lays some pretty large eggs already so I can just imagine how big the eggs from her are going to be next year.

    So my husband and I got the big rabbit cage cleaned and I got it set up in the chickens area so that Cheeks can be outside with them. Tomorrow I plan on getting the 2 youngest girls in the area as well.

    The rain from last week has caused the pumpkins to explode so I might get a better harvest
