Where are all the blue slates?!
I've been breeding blue slates and bourbon reds for a few years now, it seams alot easier to get bourbon's then slates. I'd really like to bring some fresh blood in but i'm looking for decent quality (been selecting mine for show and meat), i've gone out to see a couple and they were poor... -

the top one is a rosetta tux, it looks really red in this pic but i think it might be a play on light? I know in my rosetta line i get alot of males in particular that are redder like that. 2nd is a rosetta also like you said, last one is a female speckled Italian... males will not have that... -

Coturnix genetics...need help
I know my rabbits well, and basics on chickens but havent seen any laid out for coturnix, any one know of a site? I know wild type is dominent, and I know silver is dominent(2 copies equal dead also) but what about te rest? Range seams recessive, golden recessive but those im guessing at... Now... -

my mom passed on august 1st but atleast i spent alot of time with her :) I have spec itallians, looks different.. i will try and take a couple new photos tomorrow with them for comparison. Thanks -

agreed thanks, i had to take a year off to care for a sick family member, but before i left there were more active genetics and color people on the forum, sad to see they must have left -
