The dogs are doing great training, but we have decided to put up some fence in the backyard for them and the chickens. How tall does the fence need to be so they won't jump it? and would the goat fence with the 4x4 squares work ok for them?
Went out this afternoon, and it is completely gone. She is doing very good. I will keep on giving her the wet food and monitoring her for a few days, then she should be good to go back with the flock. I am very happy that she is doing so well, I was definitely expecting the worst but she pulled...
She is doing a lot better, I just checked on her and reapplied some ointment. It is much smaller and I can tell she is feeling much better. Of course not amazing, but she is definitely on the road to recovery!
Eggsakly & Wyorp Rock - Thank you both for the advice!
Harriet is doing ok today. I first cleaned around the infected area and then clipped the dirty feathers around it. I then soaked her in a warm bath with Epsom salt. I put some antibiotic on and around the infected area. I also gave her...

My chicken had blood on its bum feathers Monday, and I inspected it and thought I saw a scab. I've had her seperated and today, when I went to check on her she wasn't doing great. So I examined her again, and found the problem. Something is caught in her vent. It looks like poop, but when I...

@chicken danz thank you so much, you are so knowledgeable and always helpful!
@Trish44 Thank you as well! The bigger boy (left) is about 4 months, and is 1/2 GP and 1/2 Anatolian. The smaller girl (right) is mostly Anatolian with some Akbash, and she is 3 months.

Hello Everyone!
Wondering what the best way to teach lgd puppies barriers would be. We have 20 acres, and neighbors to the sides. My parents do not want me to put up any fence, but I'm not sure what the other options would be? Just wanting some opinions and help! :)
