I have a dozen Production Red chicks (males) about 3-4 days old that were sent as warming chicks on my mail order. Let me know if you have a home for them and I could meet somewhere in between if not too far. Thanks

She kept them in a 4x8 pen in the barn. They went out in the yard pen a few times a week for 3-4 hours to eat grass and bugs. She had 3 Cornish X and a LF Silkie Cockerel that was being hen pecked in his coop move in with them.
My daughter is a first time rookie raising a meat bird pen for the local county fair. The rules state the birds must be hatched June 1 or after, so we picked up some Jumbo Cornish X at the local feed store the 2nd week of June. She has been feeding them a large, dog food dish full twice a day...
Pullet or cockerel? I've thought pullet until today when I caught it crowing. My other bird is an obvious cockerel with out a doubt. They are the same age and from same breeder.

Here is a pick of my shipper. This makes another breed they did not get right. I didn't get my Columbian Wyandotte. They sent SP Wyandotte with red and green color bleeds. No WFB Spanish. Ended up with RC Anconas. Now White Cochins instead of Langshans. I did get the partridge Cochins but two...
