    I am in a big city (Houston) and I just went out to the country. Feed prices were so much cheaper. It was MG Feed too. I saved $6 a bag for whole oats that I feed as a treat and a whooping $10 per bag for lay pellets or crumble. That is insane savings. Needless to say I stocked up.

    Here is her eye 5 days later. I've moved her from a large cage to a small pen with just her sister and a bantam. She clearly is blind in this eye and the other hens bothered her in the large run.

    Sadly Winnie passed last night. She will be so missed. We feed Purina Layena Crumbles and Pellets. They get Cabbage, Oats and Sunflower seeds as treats. But I dont think Winnie ate the cabbage. I worm intermittently with fenbendazole and ivermectin pour on 2 to 3 times a year.
