    **photo added** i have noticed my girls are losing feathers under their wing/thigh area. I have looked them over several times for mites/lice but haven’t seen anything. I don’t believe they are molting, they are only a year old. Any ideas. This is my first flock.

    Thank you, hubs built it. I kept telling him the run was too small, but, he didn’t listen. There are plans to widen the coop now though if he would have just listened the first time.

    Finally painted the girls hen house. Just have to paint the small part inside the run. Don’t know when that’ll get done with the girls in there. But I think it’s safe to say they are happy here.

    I have 6 red sex links. Three are very dark like that and three are lighter. With white feathers going through.

    That’s so sweet. I wish mine were like that. My sweetest girl has turned a little sour. But they are still babies. So maybe another change is coming.
