Did you bow it up so you have a rounded top? Get some 4 or 6ml plastic, put over the top, then get a good tarp with the grammet holes in it, put it over the plastic. Use zip ties and tie it to the cattle panel. This will give them good cover from bad weather and shade.
I would flush with peroxide and the saline solution another poster suggested and use a triple antibiotic cream in the wound until it heals. You might be able to get something from your vet or maybe TSC or a CO-OP for poultry.

My floors are all wire because at first I had a wood floor in thier hidy hole but of course they wanted to use that area to go potty. My doe started getting urine burn on her feet. I took out the wood and got them resting pads fron binnyrabbit.com to use. Easy to disinfect and no more urine burn.
