    We have had SO much rain this year too!!! Muddy and smelly in the back where all the grass/vegetation has been scratched up. Glad for it finally drying out!! I'm not sure what to do when it's so muddy either??

    Maybe 8 out of 20. Hoping I didn't have to try and catch them. Maybe catch them at night. I think the oil is supposed to suffocate the mites. I have used cooking oil in a spray bottle. I sometimes spray the floor and roosts with bleach water.

    Some of my chickens have bumpy, gnarly feet. I read it's mites. I think you can spray their feet with oil. Do I need to catch them individually and spray oil on their feet/legs?? Or is there an easier way to treat them??

    Can you do anything for a growth on the top of my silkie's foot? It's bumpy and almost an inch in diameter?? Is it a tumor? I wonder if she will bleed to death if it gets pulled or pecked?

    The duck eggs that I'm saving for hatching are dirty--dried on dirt. I rubbed off what I could, but shouldn't I spot wash them?? Will the dirt interfere with the eggs hatching??
