i have chickens eggs that were going to go into lockdown tonight, and last night the light buld burnt out.. it went down to about 68 degrees... the eggs were very cold to the touch...still put them into lockdown?
It seems that alot of my eggs in the incubator are going right to the last stage, but they can't break through the membrane. I was told that there is nothing to do about thick membranes. Is there any one that has any ideas of why my eggs would have thick membranes? Anything i could do to change it ?
are the tops of your pens open? i am builing some and i am not sure if they have to be covered.. i dont want them to jump out. I have 125 chickens and counting!
