    We’re around Fort Worth Texas. So hot summers, usually winters aren’t that bad. I have a small fenced in backyard, I was thinking about maybe doing a 10x5 run, but also letting them free range when we’re home.

    I think the point of the slats is for it to fall between them and there is a pull out tray at the bottom.... what kind of small coop would you recommend?

    Sorry sadly my chick died. But he had a breathing problem too. I tried everything I could but I think it was his hip out of place and I couldn't get it back in, and nothing else helped. I have read people popping it back in but it's very hard because there bones are so small.
