You can just use dish soap and water to wash your eggs out. If you use bleach it will disolve the membrane. It's fine if you want to do that though. Then just let them air dry. I've been decorating eggs for 40 years and this is how i have always done them.

Thank you for the compliments. The pysanky egg is etched. it's a brown egg and I put melted wax on it with a kiska, then I dip the egg in some toilet bowl cleaner called The Works. Where the wax is on the egg the works won't do anything. I scrub the works on the egg till I get the color I want...
