    I've had one sweet cochin hen, the others have been like that. One mix that was three fourths cochin even killed a couple of her chicks. Could you take the Cochin away? Or separate hatched chicks and one of the other hens?

    I did meet the nicest judge! And it's always nice to see birds I've only seen online in person. A Black East Indies got champion of show. I'd say the breeder had a good chance of winning with one- he had 17 there.

    I'd take one of your Cochins over a Silkie any day! I wish I didn't have so so many. And all these little ones! I'm going to keep them through the winter and maybe sell them in the spring, you know, like a smart person.
