    Since Hatching day has arrived I think its important to mention that you should give your unhatched eggs till day 22-23 because you don't want to pull early with consequences :)

    yes I fill the short style with hot water it fits perfectly in my LG..an the holes in the top let it out no refilling an the chicks can't knock it over .... IM PIPPING YEA!!!!!!!!DAY 20

    I'm in lockdown..my humidity is bouncing all over the place..thunderstorms kill me..I finally quit looking ..I use a parmasean cheese shaker(glass one) to raise humidity ..works so well I had to take it out

    Does anyone know if it makes a difference what time of day you lockdown?(personally I lockdown the same time I set the eggs..I figure if its down to the hour that would be 18 days on the dot)

    Awesome Marthab your on the home stretch now 1 1/2 days til lockdown for me until then ..I got my pullets and roos to roost finally..thanks for the advice .. :)
