the earlobes would be noticable by now, the hackle feathers on both male and female are black and this black is not just a stripe down the back.also the body type is too deep to be a lakenvelder and the tail is held at the wrong angle
No . Not a lakenveldar. It has no white earlobes and the hackle feathers are way too pale and the tail is not near the right angle. Its more of sussex cross.
Centrachid is right. Hawks of most species are a threat. Even a female sparrow hawk could be a threat but your main hawk issues are with members of the genus buteo. Accipiter hawks are also a problem. As for falcons the only ones which would think abput taking a chuck are gyrs but they will not...
no. They both kill by biting the back of the neck and severing the spinal cord. They will then proceed to eat the breast area and will leave the head neck and other bony bits
birds of prey never eat heads however everyone seems to think so. They are firstly physicaly unable to fit it in their mouth ans secondly unable to digest. An owl would know this and wouldnt bother trying to eat the head however foxes kill be decapitation and would be happy to eat the head
