NOTICE FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE SHOPPING FOR CHICKEN SHIRTS/HOODIES.
@Zemeraire has a thread called... I think it's called making custom chicken t shirts... But they are a super talented artist! I'll...
I call them chicks until I can tell gender. I don't think they officially earn their pullet/cockerel titles until 6 m.o. though. (Usually when they reach sexual maturity)
Males are cockerels until they are 1 year old, and then they're cocks/roosters/cockbirds.
Females over a year are hens, under...
Foxes usually leave a few feathers.... a pile where the chicken was caught.
But yeah, they will kill a bunch and then take them one by one to their den.
Seeming like a pullet for now, but I won't swear to it.

And.
Her Orp rooster successfully mated with her calico bantam cochins and...
FLOOF. BUT WITH THE FEATHERED FEET. AND BANTAM SIZED.
I will let the picture speak speak for itself...

Bobo laid her first egg today!!! It was so so small and white! The lady who sold me the coturnix (how the heck do...
Well... I say I'm picking up two females. But the owner doesn't know how to sex quail. Is vent sexing a thing? Or gender specific feathering, like in chickens? They are adults. Any tips?
My oldest bird was an EE, she died at nine and laid the occasional egg even at 5... My EE rooster was 7 or 8 when he died. My EE's have always laid 5 or 6 days a week.
