    Thanks for answering. I thought the eggs I'd used were old enough, maybe not. How old should they be? I'm just worried the yolk will get slimy in the brine or something. Maybe it'll be fine we'll see lol

    Has anyone ever seen this before? I used up a whole weeks worth of eggs to make pickled eggs but almost all of them look like this.not hard to peel but the white around the yolk is so so thin it peels away. Anyone know why? Also, think I can still pickle these?

    turns out we couldnt find ourother heat lamp anywhere so we put the young goslings in a box within the brooder to dry off overnight. worked out fine when we introduced them the next day

    howlong after drawdown should i expect internal pippping?
