I have not been on the message board lately I posted some pictures on the Hatching board, but I thought I would share with the Okies. Alot of traveling for work. I am taking a class at Maxwell AFB in Alabama right now. The family sent me some pictures of some Orpington chicks I set a few...
Yeah I love the Brinsea. I started off with the 1588 Genesis and I liked it, but I went ahead and upgraded. I almost got kicked out of the house when the old lady saw what I spent on the incubator. I really like the attachment that allows you to set the humidity. It makes it real easy.

Thanks for all the help guys. I am not sure what was going on at first. I now only have three, but it has been a few days since any have died. I have been cleaning daily, fresh water, and I disinfected the tub I was using for the brooder.
One minute the look good and running around the next thing I know another is dead. I have no idea what is going on. Still in the brooder and good temp, plenty of food, eating well, then one dies. I started with 10 now 5 are alive. Any suggestions?
Still only one has hatched (day 25). Seems to be pecking at the food so that is good. I threw a couple small meal worms in the food and that seemed to get him more interested in eating.
Thanks. I don't know if they will grow up to be the 22oz quail he claims, but the shipping was superfast, there were several extras, and none were broken. So I am pleased.

I had a couple button quail get loose with my chickens. The chickens were about to eat the quail, but I caught them just in time. Not sure about larger quail, but chickens are mean.
