6 chicks hatched !
First one here ! They will all be little yellow fluff balls with fluffy bell bottom legs!
Still waiting to see if B H and E pip.
First to hatch was G followed closely by J
“A” was never fertile I think so all the others have hatched and are fluffing out. Pics to come. I...
The 🦍 chick made it!! And is now integrated with the rest of the chicks. The fluid under its skin recedes more and more and also has grown some fluff. You can still see where it is and it somewhat looks like it favors the leg a little. It’s a strong chick! Let’s just hope it’s not a boy cause I...
Psyche (formerly 🍄 ) cute tiny Queen
Cowboy came out last night - he has some shell stuck to his legs - and he’s a tiny one too. He’s kind of golden in his feathers.
Darling (formerly 💋) she’s so pretty with her unique markings !!
Sometime today I think I decided I’m going to do the...
🤠 pipped!!!!!!!
👹 hatched and 👁️ is almost done
🪱 🐍 😲 have not - and I don’t think 🧌 ever pipped and I was just seeing stuff.
🥰 pipped but died in the eggs and when I inspected it. :/
I helped 🍄 get out of its shell after over 36 hours pipped. It did good, is getting dry, but it’s a pip squeak! And I just hope it makes it.
I named it Psyche. It doesn’t have any deformities or anything. It can walk well. It’s just teeny.
Hunchy. That’s funny.
My husband says that chick is strong and seems to not really notice the fluid sac. So we’re hoping it’ll absorb and it isn’t actually “mushy chick”.
Oh my god so many hatched! I’m just gonna name the ones that still need help or haven’t pipped.
🍄 is pipped and trying but I might have to help it. It’s been pipped for over 24 hours and is only slightly increasing its hole every so often.
🥰 pipped yesterday but no action since
🧌 👹 👁️ are...
No, the picture doesn’t show it as well but this is mostly on its back, and there’s no feather fluff on it, it’s just a loose skin sac with fluid in it giggling around.
I wish I knew. A lot of the Brahmas hatched overnight while I was asleep or they hatched simultaneously and the incubator was...
Is this Mushy Chick and what should I do with the chick?
They are still in the incubator drying out.
Is this just a cull situation? Or can it get better on its own at all? It seems to not have any other symptoms except the fluid sac on its low back.
...and is now Batty
🦤 hatched and is now Dodomingo
🕷️ hatched and is now Charlotte
🤺 hatched and is now Pierre (first Brahma to hatch!)
🦭 hatched and is now Selkie! (Second Brahma)
*whew!!*
That’s a total of 12 hatchlings - with many more pips to go! Still have 21 eggs to hopefully hatch! 🤞🏻
💋 Hatch 6th - now Darling (cause she’s golden!)
🦩 hatched 7th - now Floppy Mingo (name of my son’s ancient flamingo toy)
🦤 is being a Dodo.
🦇 is almost here.
None of the Brahma’s have hatched yet.
