Yes I know small but I’m use to raising Oliver eggers and BCM. So I didn’t realize this small. It’s fine to me , just making sure it’s growing right but thank you
I got this chick a 3-4 weeks ago he was a bantam baby. I don’t know what kind he/she is but I got it at rural king. I feel like it’s not the size it’s suppose to be. I’ve never raised a bantams so I’m not sure if it’s the correct size. Moms already roosting and he can’t get up there without help.
this chick is just over 2 weeks old and I noticed that their walking kinda funny. I was going to put all the chicken outside in their own space. I don’t understand why it’s walking that way. Anyone have any ideas
I did lower it , too 90 they seemed to stopped the chirping and I was just following the chart that said 95 for the first week since they are 2 days old. Is that Incorrect?
I just hatched out 12 baby chicks , I went to check on them and find a baby chick dead and found bubbly poop. They were quiet yesterday but now they won’t stop peeping. I have a thermometer in there and I know it’s not that they are cold.
They are eating non medicated food.
Just thought it was cool ! My Cochin rooster and my Oliver egger hen ( she laid brown ) but I hatched a couple of their eggs last year. The offspring just started laying she’s 8-9 months.
The second pic is my olive egger eggs ( f1&f2)
I put a electric fence around my ladies and the first couple weeks it worked but now it doesn’t
I was fixing one of the pieces today and it was on the whole time and I didn’t realize but I didn’t get shocked but while doing it I grazed my arm acrossed the t-post and it shocked me. I don’t...
I’m trying to understand the f1 and f2 gene in Oliver eggers. I hatched these two from my Oliver hen and rooster. Would they lay olive eggs since I’m guessing they are f2
